Motets and cantiones sacrae
Manuscripts of St. George Convent,

This program illustrates the influence of the Latin liturgical repertoire throughout Europe from the 12th to the 15th century, and particularly in the manuscripts of the convent of St. George (female monastery), located in the heart of Prague Castle, from the beginning of the millennium.

It is also the first time that Discantus goes forward in time, during the 14th and 15th centuries, with motets and cantiones sacrae where the know-how of the ensemble explodes in all its beauty.
