Gregorian chant and ‘organized’ two-parts chant celebrate Easter time and the crowning of Edward “the confessor” in 1043. As a counterpoint, two creations, works by young composers Pierre Chépélov (1979) and Joel Rust (1989, UK) on texts of De consolatione philosophiae by Boethius (commissioned by the ensemble).
